Breakfast: Not so boring!

September 18th, 2017 | By

Breakfast. It’s the first meal of the day, and some say the most important.

Did you know that the word breakfast means ‘to break your fast’? You haven’t eaten all night, so when you wake up your body is hungry for the nutrition needed to get started for the day.

Once you eat something, your body wakes up inside! Food is your fuel, like gas for a car, and you wake up on empty every day. Breakfast fuels you!

Even better than helping you wake up and filling up your empty gas tank, breakfast can improve your performance in school and sports. So make sure to get lots of good stuff in your breakfast.

Any combination of healthy things will start the day off on the right foot, fuel you up, and make sure your motor is running in tip-top shape every day.
