Paying your own way … on the water
If you don’t own or have access to watercraft, most of these activities cost money. Here are some ways you might be able to earn the money needed to start rowing, paddling, kayaking, sailing, and boating:
- pulling weeds
- raking the yard
- walking pets while their owners are at work
- cleaning out a garage or attic
- holding a yard sale
- recycling cans and bottles
