One way to learn about different cultures, languages, and foods is to be part of an Intercultural Club. Does your school already have one? If not, would you like to start one?
What exactly would you do as part of an Intercultural Club? You might try wearing clothes that are used by people in other countries and cultures, or learn about traditions people from different parts of the world celebrate. You could find a new favorite food, or learn a fun game to play with your friends.
Being part of a club is fun! And did you know that learning even a little bit of a second language or about a different country can be fun and helpful?
Your school’s English Language Learners teacher can steer you to any existing Intercultural Club. If there isn’t one already established, maybe you can help organize one!
